Bulletin for April 16th, 2017

Welcome to Community Church on this Easter Sunday! We celebrate that the tomb is empty and Jesus Christ is alive!

This morning we welcome Dr. Randy Blacketer to our church to lead our Easter Day services and give thanks for his willingness to help us out on such short notice. Pastor Dave and Sandi are in Iowa in response to Sandi’s step dad passing away this past Wednesday. Let’s remember them in our prayers during this time.

Welcome to Community Church! Today we celebrate Palm Sunday remembering when Christ entered Jerusalem as our victorious king. Pastor Ezra will help us think about the meaning of His victorious entry and our due response to our king, Jesus. May God bless our worship times this morning.

Welcome to Community Church! Today we’re celebrating the gift of “PRAYER” and exercising it as part of this Lenten season. Our morning service is broken down into four parts: ACTS as we spend time in prayer and in worship today!

Did you see The Shack this past week? Did it raise questions for you? Come tonight and join in the discussion come tonight and join in the discussion of the positive things we learned from the Shack and the things we need to be careful of. Can’t make it tonight but want to talk about the Shack? See Pastor Dave or ask one of our small groups to spend time discussing what we learned.

Informational Meeting Today Between The Morning Services: The Council will be holding an informational meeting between our morning services, starting about 10:15 AM, in the sanctuary to share more information about the proposal to purchase property on Wilbur for parking and to answer questions. Bulletin for February 26th, 2017

Welcome To Community Church! We are continuing our series with the theme of Following In His Steps as Pastor Dave helps us look at 1 Peter 4. We are thankful to have the THUGS (True Heroes Under God’s Service High School Youth Group) share with us their experiences of the 30 Hour Famine this past weekend. The high school THUGS group participated in the Famine this past weekend to raise money for world hunger; we have an opportunity to support that through our second offering today.

This Evening, Pastor Dave will continue to help us in our study of 1 Peter by looking at the second part of that chapter. Everyone is invited to come to this small group opportunity of worship and study.

Bulletin For January 15th, 2017

Welcome to Community Church! This morning we dedicate the picture in our entrance: Jesus Standing at the Door Knocking, which is taken from Revelation 3. Copies of the picture are in your bulletin to remind you of the significance of this passage for us as individuals and as a church.
                    This morning we also celebrate the sacrament of communion. Everyone who professes Jesus Christ as the one who died on the cross for the forgiveness of their sins and acknowledges Him as the Lord of their life is invited to celebrate the sacrament of communion. Parents and grandparents are reminded to evaluate whether their children or grandchildren truly understand the meaning of communion before having them participate. May God bless our worship today!
