Adult Bible Study Following This Morning’s Service: Arnie Snoeyink leads a class called “Basic Concepts in Christian Growth.” This class for adults and teens will meet in the Godwin Room from 11:15 AM to noon each Sunday throughout the summer.
Pastor Dave is out of the office this week while on vacation by Lake Michigan with his family. If a need arises while he is away, please contact Pastor Ezra, Bonnie Thomas or one of the Elders. He will be back in the office on Monday, July 31.
Directory Update: The church office is once again updating the church directory which consists of names, contact info, birthdays and anniversaries of those who actively attend worship services and ministry meetings. Everyone is encouraged to review your family’s information following today’s service. Directory Change forms are available for those who need to be added to the directory or have changes. Sunday, August 6th: Combined Worship Service @ Cascade Fellowship: In two weeks we will join Cascade Fellowship for a special time of worship and fellowship. – Gloria V. remains at Breton Manor for hospice care. She is very weak at this time.
– Dake B. is improving at the Spectrum Rehab Facility located on Kalamazoo Ave.
– Terri D. broke two bones in her left food in early July. This week doctor told her she will not be able to put any weight on her foot for four more weeks! Prayers and cards are appreciated. Please remember her in prayer for her daily back and leg pain, quick and complete healing in her foot, and for daily strength.
Dirty Glory Book Study will begin Monday, July 31 at 7:00 PM. Those who desire to participate are asked to read the first four chapters of the book before the group meets. Schedules are available on the table in the lobby. If you need a book please contact Becky A.
Do you have a passion for the lonely and hurting? Do you have a few hours to give to God over the next month or so? If yes, then please consider serving with our Pastoral Care Ministry. This vital ministry cares for the members of Community Church, making visits to those who are not able to make it to church or who have had a special need, such as a hospital stay or death in their family. If you are able to commit to making two visits between now and the end of August, please speak with Bonnie Thomas, Pastoral Care Coordinator.
