Welcome to Community Church! Our series of messages on Building Blocks Of Our Faith which will help us reflect on who we grow in our relationship with God through our faith in Jesus Christ. Our theme today is I Am Called and Equipped which celebrates our spiritual gifts and involvement in the church. We also welcome Dustin Saylor to our church today to bless us with his ministry of music today. May God bless our worship today!

This evening, Pastor Dave will take us deeper into the area of using our spiritual gifts to grow in our faith at our evening worship time. Come tonight for a time of small group worship!

Important Schedule Reminder! Beginning Memorial Weekend (next Sunday, May 28) we will start on summer worship schedule with one-morning service at 10AM. Please make a point of adjusting your schedule for the summer months.

We will be Kicking off our Pentecost 2017 series: Celebrating, Growing and Anticipating More of the Holy SpiritEveryone is welcome to come to kick off our series for the rest of May and June! Daily devotionals are available to begin using on Thursday for the next ten days leading up to Pentecost Sunday, which is June 4.

Congregational Meeting: Sunday, June 4th between our morning services, starting about 10:15 AM. Agendas have been distributed in member mailboxes, additional copies may be found on the table in the lobby. Plan to attend this meeting and vote for the coming year’s proposed budget and new council members.

– Christine K. had surgery on her neck.
– Dan B. had foot surgery.
– Pat C. had knee replacement surgery.
– Charlie B. was admitted to the hospital for tests.
– Our Christian sympathy is extended to Rich S. and his family at the passing of his granddaughter this past week.
– Congratulations and God’s blessing to Steven and Violet J. who were united in marriage on Saturday.

From the Deacons: Christian Education Assistance is available to families who have children or adults attending a Christian school or college. If you would like to apply for assistance, request forms may be found on the table in the lobby; completed forms should be given to a deacon by Sunday, May 28.

Please Pray For The Persecuted: Threats and attacks are the “normal” daily backdrop to Aliyah’s life. “I think whoever believes Jesus and serves Him will suffer,” she said. “I also believe suffering is a gift from God according to the book of Philippians.” She is committed to reaching her family at great personal risk. She is a brave young woman who lives in Somalia. Pray for her.
