Bulletin for July 16th, 2017

Welcome to Community Church! Today we continue our series on Jonah: PROCLAIM as Arnie Snoeyink helps us look at Jonah 2. We also welcome and give thanks for the children from this past week’s Vacation Bible School who will help us celebrate VBS 2017: CAVE QUEST. May God bless our time of worship together!

Pastor Dave is participating in Matthew Pearce’s ordination service this morning at West Leonard CRC. He will be out of the office for the next two weeks on vacation by Lake Michigan with his family. If a need arises while he is away, please contact Pastor Ezra, Bonnie Thomas or one of the Elders. He will be back in the office on Monday, July 31.

Thank You To All Who Prayed For VBS 2017: Cave Quest:

A special thank you to everyone who helped with vbsYour service, donations, talent and sacrifice of time was much appreciated and brought glory to our Lord! (sorry for not listing everyone’s name in the bulletin, but we had such a fantastic
support team in all areas: group leaders, singing & motions, sound & PowerPoint, dance, Bible Talk, arts & crafts, refreshment, recreation, set-up and clean up, behind the scenes workers, parent volunteers, etc…

– Creating an innovative culture
– Streamlining process to boos execution
– Reimagining performance management
– Identifying personal attributes critical for success
– Thriving in the face of adversity

information about the speakers is available on the table in the lobby.
If you are interested in attending or have questions, please speak
with Pastor Dave.

Please Pray For The Persecuted: Though they’re being specifically targeted because of their faith, believers in the Nuba Mountains are not deterred from openly proclaiming their faith. Their brightly painted churches are decorated with Bible verses, and even their thatched huts feature a woven or wooden cross on top or a painting of a cross. Even though the crosses identify them as targets, they refuse to hide their faith in Jesus Christ.

Want to listen or watch the service again? Exclusively for this month the services are being recorded to video and available to watch on the church website. You can also listen to the audio for this series and catch up on last month’s series. Both can
