Bulletin For November 4th, 2018

Welcome To Community Church! The focus of our worship is that this is a Month of Thanksgiving! Our thanks are not simply designated to be for one day, but every day our lives are to reflect a thanksgiving to God! Our evening gathering will also focus on giving thanks to God through prayer. May God be pleased with our worship of gratitude today!

Parking Lot Now Available For Use! Those able and willing are encouraged to park across Wilbur Street in the new church parking lot so there will be plenty of parking for guests, seniors, and those with disabilities.

Parking Lot Dedication Service: We will officially give thanks and dedicate our new parking lot on Sunday, November 18 at a special combined 10 AM service. Following the service we will have an Open House to further celebrate God’s blessing.

Pedestrian Crossing… Caution! PedestriansThose parking in the new parking lot are reminded to not jaywalk when coming to or from church. Be sure to use the Wilbur Street crosswalk at Jefferson. Drivers … Parking lot entrances on Wilbur Street are very close to the intersection at Jefferson Avenue and are almost directly across from one another. Drivers are reminded to be extra cautious of others who are entering or leaving a parking lot as well as pedestrians.

WiFi Access: A special thank you to Eric V & Rob S for their work updating and setting up the church wifi. Guests may gain wifi access by choosing “ChurchGuests” network, password “community” (all lowercase).

Rides… Need a ride to a worship service, Bible study, church event, or doctor’s appointment and unable to find someone to take you? If yes, then the church may be able to help. If you need a ride you may contact Norma at 248-3744 and she may be able to aid in finding a volunteer to help.

Collecting For Thanksgiving Food Boxes: We are now accepting donations to help us fill about 20 Thanksgiving Food Boxes. Donated items need to be brought in no later than Sunday, November 11. Items needed include, but are not limited to: frozen turkeys, frozen hams, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, pies, frozen or canned vegetables and fruit, yams, cranberry sauce. Please speak to Kathy H before donating frozen items so arrangements can be made to get them put away right away.
